Western Technology
Western Technology’s Explosion Proof Lights, also known as Hazardous Location Lighting or Intrinsically Safe Lights are NRTL certified for UL and OSHA Safety Standards compliant for use in areas where flammable petrochemical vapor or potential pulverized dust exist. Explosion Proof Lights are Class 1, Div 1 & 2 or Class 2, Division 1 and 2 are rated for use in hazardous areas. Suggested industries include offshore lights, rig lights, aircrafts and paint spray booth lights. Class 1 lights are perfect for confined spaces and are typically used for cleaning large vessels or fuel cells, plant turn-around, marine work areas, aircrafts, painting booths, etc. Class 2 rated lights are typically used for hazardous areas that have grain, sugar, or munitions.
